The global COVIID pandemic affected youth sports participation during the mid-year as U.S. and world health organizations, enacted strict restrictions on active participation and close contact sports among other activities, due to prevailing transmissions fears. The event was thus cancelled, in full observance of the imposed restrictions and as a cautionary stance due to the massive spreading epidemic.
