Armando Tamayo is a multi-talented individual who plays a vital role in the success of the ENIGMA Cup. He wears two hats, serving as both the official graphic designer and the website administrator. His creativity and technical expertise have been instrumental in shaping the ENIGMA Cup’s online presence and visual identity. His passion for design and soccer began at a young age. He participated in youth soccer himself, developing a deep understanding of the game and its importance in young athletes’ lives. This passion, coupled with his natural artistic talent, led him to pursue a career in graphic design. Armando’s commitment to continuous improvement led him to spearhead the full conversion of the FUTSOC and ENIGMA Cup’s websites to a new, user-friendly design. This effort was met with much acclaim, culminating in the website receiving the honor of 2nd place among over 1 million websites in the SportsEngine network in May 2018.
Armando’s contributions extend beyond the realm of design. He also serves as the Assistant Program Director for FUTSOC, the organization that hosts the ENIGMA Cup. He brings his extensive coaching experience and knowledge of training methods to his role as Head Coach for multiple teams. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL, where he earned a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science with Minors in Computer Science and Sports Management. He is currently pursuing his Advanced Certification for Strength and Conditioning (ACSC) and plans to enroll in a graduate program at Nova Southeastern University to obtain an M.B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Sport Revenue Generation.
