1. What’s your full name and how old are you?
My name is Jaslyn Perez and I am 11 years old.

2. What position do you play on the field?
I play midfielder or right wing, wherever my coach needs me.

3. How long have you been playing soccer?
I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 years old.

4. Which club or team do you currently play for?
I play for Ft. Lauderdale United

5. What’s your favorite soccer team (pro or international)?
I like a lot of teams but my favorite is Barca.

6. Who is your favorite soccer player and why?
Messi is my favorite soccer player because he has gotten a lot of hate but that doesn’t stop him from being the best.

7. What’s your most memorable soccer moment so far?
It was at the Sarasota Cup, with a different club team I used to play for. Our game was tied 3-3 and I scored the game winning goal at the end. I remember the excitement everyone had… my teammates, my coach, the parents and of course me.

8. What does soccer mean to you?
I just have fun playing soccer.

9. If you could play in any stadium in the world, which one would it be?
I don’t know, it will be an honor to play in any stadium.

10. What advice would you give to other young players chasing their dreams?
Never give up. I’m still chasing my dreams but all I know that us important is to never give up.

11. Share story or a moment that stuck with you during the ENIGMA Cup and tell us what playing in the ENIGMA Cup means to you.
It was our semi-finals game. We were down 2-0, we had less than 10 min left in the game. My teammates and I kept on playing well and playing strong to try and win. I scored a goal and my teammates started to play even better to try and score another goal . Then my teammate scored another goal and the game ended in a 2-2 tie. We won in Penalties . We were all so happy that we were moving onto the finals. Playing in the ENIGMA Cup was fun, it was a really cool tournament. The trophy was cool too.
