2023 ENIGMA Cup presented by FUTSOC

Our much-anticipated 2023 ENIGMA Cup Youth International Soccer Tournament presented by FUTSOC, kicked off with great fanfare and exciting festivities, opening with our fun-filled ENIGMA Cup Inauguration at our beautiful Weston Town Center on Friday, May 26th. With hundreds present (despite expected inclement weather which fortunately never arrived), all were treated to a full array of quality restaurants of all nationalities and varieties, outstanding music, soccer interactive games, facepainting, raffles, and many other fun activities for all!

Outstanding competition, top notch refereeing, first-rate concessions, along with world class sponsorship support from global companies like Grupo Bimbo (our signature sponsor), and partnerships with our local professional MLS soccer club – Inter Miami FC, management company Weston Town Center, concession and food services from South Florida favorite – PANNA New Latino Food, on stage music entertainment by celebrated DJ Gio, travel accommodations by Legacy Travel, photography and videography services by ANDROMEDA, our tournament coordinating group – TSG, and our very own City of Weston government, provided all the necessary impact our 6th year event required to give the masses of players and fans all the enjoyment and unforgettable memories to take along!

2023 ENIGMA Cup once again proved to be a resounding success, with over 600 applications and 450+ team acceptances, corresponding to clubs representing European and Caribbean nations from Barbados, Haiti, Jamaica, Bahamas as well as, a multitude of clubs from Florida and around the country. As our youth soccer tournament continues to evolve year after year, we continually seek to create a unique global festival of diverse cultures and play styles…in essence, the ENIGMA Cup EXPERIENCE!

Once again, our dream is to continue expanding our horizons, bridging cultural divides and celebrating the beauty and wonder of our special sport of FUTbol – SOCcer! Our mission continues to be unchanged…it is not simply to be among the largest youth soccer tournaments in the country, but rather focused on ENIGMA Cup becoming among the finest in the U.S…and the world! We kindly extend our sincere appreciation to all who joined us this year, and to all who so diligently and dedicatedly committed to making our event – 2023 ENIGMA Cup presented by FUTSOC, an enormous success!

Of special mention, we wish to thank Colombia World Cup player1990 (Italy) and 1994 (USA) and superstar center back Luis Carlos “Coroncoro” Perea (Atletico Nacional, Independiente Medellin, Toros Neza and others), Venezuela National Team player at U15, U17, and U20 World Cup (Egypt 2009) player, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana participant – Goalkeeper Ronald Garces (Carabobo FC, Estrella Roja, Yaracuyanos, Houston Dutch Lions, Fort Lauderdale Strikers) , 2005 Venezuela National Team player – Defender Juan Fuenmayor (UA Maracaibo, Zulia, Valerenga, Deportivo Anzoategui, and Miami United FC), local up and coming youth stars currently playing for Inter Miami FC – Midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi and Defender Ian Fray, who all graciously accepted our invitation to attend our 2023 ENIGMA Cup presented by FUTSOC, to partake of the closing ceremony and award presentation and to avail all present to take photos with them and to sign autographs! Undeniably demonstrated love and passion for youth sports, their generous presence provided such an extra dimension to our event, adding so much excitement, and bringing out endless smiles and unforgettable memories from all the children and parents present! For this entirely unselfish kindness and generosity of heart, we are greatly appreciative!

One full year in advance, we now move on to plan and prepare for the 2024 ENIGMA Cup!
