Once again, we started with outstanding competition, top notch refereeing, first-rate concessions, myriad vendors, along with world class sponsorship support from global companies like Grupo Bimbo (world-class Signature Sponsors), our very special friends and partners – PANNA New Latino Food (wonderful exclusive Food Sponsors of ENIGMA Cup and concessionaires whose entire organization and staff were simply outstanding in providing and presenting delicious foods and services throughout the event), partnerships with our local professional USL Championship soccer club – Miami FC, Weston Town Center – Weston’s downtown management company), on stage music entertainment with a 30 ft Video Board and extremely loud, thrusting music compiled and presented by DJ Shinno, talented MC’ing by our very own renowned and celebrated DJ Gio, travel accommodations by our most experienced Travel Source, top quality photography and videography services by our internationally renowned Lucho Marquez and his ANDROMEDA staff, expert interview and game recordings as well as, production programming by our new friends at SportsVenezuela, our extraordinary tournament coordinating group – Angel, Erin and Olivia, and our very own highly respected leadership from the City of Weston government officials (City of Weston Mayor Peggy Brown, City of Weston City Manager Don Decker), introduction of new Colombian Superstar singing and dancing sensation in the making – Lau Souffront and her super-talented dance troupe, which moved the masses of people attending, with her exciting live performances. The Championship Monday award event was truly unforgettable and so very exciting for thousands who bared the intense heat and watched team after team receive their trophies and medals in this our 7th year of celebrating the beautiful game, at 2024 ENIGMA Cup.

On our second night, our fans and many teams drove to Miami to witness a match between our local professional team MIAMI FC and North Carolina in a torrential downpour! The night was fun, the match very exciting although the victory went to our visitors! The 3rd night was the special event of our tournament – The Clash of Legends, when we honored the memory of recently deceased and the most legendary Venezuela National Team (Vino Tinto) player ever…Luis “Mendocita” Mendoza. Receiving a memorial plaque from ENIGMA Cup Executive Managing Director Jose Tamayo, presented to Luis Mendoza, son of the legendary idol and current DOC of neighboring club Weston FC, the event consisted of a match of legendary players from all over our hemisphere (Venezuela, Colombia, Jamaica, Peru, Costa Rica and Ecuador) to complement the half time award presentation and the large screen video production. Further to this, we take the special opportunity to honor our great friend Carlos Jimenez who represented many children’s charities in Venezuela and here in the U.S. with his internationally renowned FUNDACION TODO POR LOS NINOS and for which this occasion served as a fund raiser for these same. A truly great success of an evening!!

Our Tournament Committee turned to international and out of state teams along with our loyal local followers. Teams from Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Colombia, Haiti and Panama, complemented those from California, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey and all sections of Florida. 2024 ENIGMA Cup once again proved to be a great success, with over 250 applications!  As our youth soccer tournament continues to evolve year after year, we continually seek to create a unique global festival of diverse cultures and play styles…in essence, the ENIGMA Cup EXPERIENCE!

The dream lives on…to bring all cultures together to celebrate the beauty and wonder of our special sport of FUTbol – SOCcer! Our mission continues to be unchanged…it is not simply to be among the largest youth soccer tournaments in the country, but rather focused on ENIGMA Cup becoming among the finest in the U.S… and the world! We kindly extend our sincere appreciation to all who joined us this year, and to all who so diligently and dedicatedly committed to making our event – 2024 ENIGMA Cup presented by FUTSOC, once again an enormous success!

Of special mention, we wish to thank our FYSA Region “A” Commissioner for his undying support in promoting 2024 ENIGMA Cup, our internationally renowned Soccer Ambassador – legendary Colombia World Cup player 1990 (Italy) and 1994 (USA) and superstar center back Luis Carlos “Coroncoro” Perea (Atletico Nacional, Independiente Medellin, Toros Neza and others) who assisted in bringing world class clubs to our ever-growing international event. Additionally, we greatly thank Miami FC for the presence of a few of their super players in the presentation of awards – their talented trio led by Alejandro Mitrano (our ex-FUTSOC player), who all graciously accepted our invitation to attend our 2024 ENIGMA Cup presented by FUTSOC, to partake of the closing ceremony and award presentation and to avail all present to take photos with them and to sign autographs! Further, we once again had the honor of Miami FC mascot “Golazo”,, along with PANNA’s own “Tequi” and “Chefi”, as well as, the  introduction and first-time presentation of our very own mascot – “Golito” the phoenix! Undeniably demonstrated love and passion for youth sports, their generous presence provided such an extra dimension to our event, adding so much excitement, and bringing out endless smiles and unforgettable memories from all the children and parents present! For this entirely unselfish kindness and generosity of heart, we are greatly appreciative!

One full year in advance, we now move on to plan and prepare for the 2025 ENIGMA Cup, where we already have secured new internationally renowned clubs, from all over our hemisphere! The work starts now…the experience will be even greater at our next event!
